Keep Fit:
Healthy adults should aim for at least 150 minutes of physical activity each week.

Avoid Alcohol Abuse:
Drinking too much alcohol can increase your blood pressure and add extra calories, which can lead to weight gain

Eat healthy diets:
Choose foods that are healthy for your heart and your entire body: fruits, vegetables, whole
grains, and low-fat or fat-free dairy products.

Get enough sleep:
Aim for 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night

Check blood sugar level:
Check and control your blood sugar regularly to prevent diabetes

Check cholesterol level:
Keep your cholesterol level within the target range to prevent heart attacks and stroke

Check blood pressure
Over time, uncontrolled high blood pressure can cause arteries around the kidneys to narrow, weaken or harden, thereby causing kidney failure

Watch the pills
Don’t take over-the-counter anti-inflammatory, pain-killer and nonsteroidal pills regularly

Reduce Salt intake
High salt intake can raise the blood pressure which can cause kidney failure over time

Stop smoking
Smokers are four times more likely to encounter kidney failure

Drink lots of water
Drinking lots of water can help prevent the formation of kidney stones

Go for a prostate check
For men, 40 years and above. An enlarged prostate can cause urinary tract obstruction and harm the kidneys.
