Abuja Complex
Conveniently situated at 3rd Avenue, by 34 Crescent, Gwarinpa, Abuja, Kelina’s facilities comprise a self-contained and purpose-built hospital complex that serves all of the current operations. The hospital is easily accessible from Abuja-Kaduna expressway. The gated Kelina Hospital Abuja complex contains a car park for patients and staff, a borehole providing clean water throughout the building, two standby generators, and airconditioned sections for all the major departments of the hospital, including the laboratory, pharmacy, consulting rooms, surgical theatres, staff offices, nursing stations, kitchen, laundry, and 50 private patient rooms.
Lagos Complex
Kelina Hospital Lagos is located at 7, Ologun Agbaje Street, off Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island and is easily accessible from all highways on the Island. The Lagos hospital contains a car park for patients and staff, a borehole providing clean water (with water treatment) throughout the building, two standby generators, and airconditioned sections for all the major departments of the hospital, including the laboratory, pharmacy, consulting rooms, surgical theatres, staff offices, nursing stations, kitchen, laundry, and 105 private patient rooms.
Patient Admission Rooms
Patient admission rooms are fully contained suites composed of a spacious bedroom, bathroom, patient care equipment, TV, internet access, and one or two beds. Currently, only one patient is housed per suite. When necessary (in the case of younger patients) or at the request of the patient, the second bed in the room may be used by an adult relation of the patient. Many patients choose to take advantage of this provision so that the adult family member or friend can help to provide emotional and social support while the patient is receiving treatment. Patients may also request to have a room upstairs or downstairs, and the staff would usually consider such preferences as long as the requested room type is available.
Labour room
Our labour room is one of the few in Abuja with a functional CTG machine. We have brand new delivery beds, disposable delivery packs, baby resuscitator, oxygen, resuscitation equipment and suction machines.
Uninterrupted Power Supply
We have uninterrupted power supply, not only because of our multiple generating plants, but also because of multiple Inverter and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems for the entire hospital and also for each sensitive equipment.
We have our own 300KVA transformer, because we cannot afford avoidable power interruptions.
Water treatment
Our own Water Treatment installations provide us excellent water quality, ideal for drinking.
Laundry
We have industrial washing machines and driers. With these, we can maintain a quick turnover of patient linen, and reduce or completely remove the restriction on number of bedspread changes a patient can have in one day.
