- CONSULTANT FAMILY PHYSICIAN
A prominent Hospital in Abuja has a vacancy for the position of a Consultant Family Physician.
- JOB DESCRIPTION
The Consultant Family Physician will be expected to carry out, but will not be restricted to, the following duties:
- Providing comprehensive medical services for family members, regardless of age or sex, on a continuing basis.
- Running the outpatient clinic based on agreed schedule.
- Seeing patients on emergency basis depending on specialty required.
- Performing surgical procedures commensurate with Family Medicine surgical competency. Kelina Hospital already has Consultant Surgeons in various specialities.
- Being involved in the training of junior doctors
- Drawing up standard management protocols for emergencies and ensure Medical Officers are familiar with them.
- Attending and participate in general patient care outside Family Medicine
- Carrying out other clinical and administrative duties as may be assigned by Management.
- B) QUALIFICATION
- Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Training Programme with appropriate experience in this speciality. Certification by WACP or equivalent body.
- Candidates must be resident in Abuja or show evidence that they are familiar with the Abuja environment.
- D) REMUNERATION
N10m – N18m per annum
- CONSULTANT OBSTETRICIAN AND GYNECOLOGIST
- JOB DESCRIPTION
The Consultant Gynecologist will be required to, amongst other things:
- Take care of patients with gynecological or obstetric problems and keep detailed clinical records for patient.
- Participate in patient care reports, patient care conferences, team conferences, professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities to the extent that such attendance and participation is relative to his/her assigned cases or performance of duties.
- Perform all other duties consistent with the position of a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist in our setting.
- B) QUALIFICATION
- Successful completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynaecology Training Programme with appropriate experience in this speciality. Certification by WACS or equivalent body.
- Experience in Minimally Invasive Surgery will be added advantage.
- Candidates must be resident in Abuja or show evidence that they are familiar with the Abuja environment.
D) REMUNERATION
N10m – N18m per annum.
- CLINICAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT
- JOB DESCRIPTION
The Medical Research Assistant will be expected to carry out, but will not be restricted to, the following duties:
- Collecting, compiling, reporting, and analysing data for scientific studies.
- Managing all clinical research activities in the hospital.
- Engaging clinical and community partners in research.
- Carrying out other duties, clinical or non-clinical, depending on area of training, as may be assigned by Management.
- QUALIFICATION
- An MBBS degree, a degree in any health-related field or equivalent in any other course of training with relevant experience or overwhelming interest in research work.
- A good understanding of what is required in clinical research to get our papers published.
- Good organizational skills to maintain orderliness in compiling research data for testing and presentation.
- D) REMUNERATION
N2.2m – N3m per annum.
- TOTAL QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
Kelina Hospital has a vacancy for the position of a Total Quality Control Manager.
- JOB DESCRIPTION
The Total Quality Manager will be expected to carry out, but will not be restricted to, the following duties:
- Overseeing every single aspect of the work in the hospital to optimize quality service across all departments to prevent adverse events.
- Enforcing adherence to all policies and SOPs within the hospital as well as Public Health standards across all clinical departments and perform intermittent chart reviews and audits at clinical sites.
- QUALIFICATION
The Quality Assurance Manager must be a registered Nurse-Midwife, a Medical Doctor, a university graduate in health-related fields or any other university graduate that is trainable but with special knack for perfection with relevant experience in Quality Assurance. All candidates must show evidence that they will be interested in long-term service and will be trainable.
- D) REMUNERATION
N1.2-N2.4m per annum.
