Visiting & Emergency Patients
Visiting patients can receive dialysis while in Lagos, following review by the Nephrologist and meeting eligibility criteria. Emergency dialysis is also available. Patients are first reviewed by the Nephrologist, and a plan of care is established before dialysis commences.
All patients for haemodialysis must be seen and evaluated first by the Nephrologist.
Safety & Infection Prevention
- Hand hygiene protocol observed by all persons entering the centre
- Personal protective equipment required for all staff per unit protocol
- Station disinfection of all machines and accessories per unit guidelines
- Strict aseptic technique for vascular access care

Ultrapure Water Treatment
We understand the water system is the heart of the dialysis centre. We go to extra lengths to use ultrapure water to produce dialysis fluid through a complex, multi-stage treatment system:
Pre-treatment
Media filters, water softeners, and carbon filters to remove sediment, hard minerals, chlorine, and chloramines
Reverse Osmosis
High-pressure filtration through microscopic membranes, stripping 99% of remaining contaminants
Ultrafiltration
Final polishing steps ensure water reaches the highest microbiological standards for ultrapure dialysis

PATIENT OUTCOME
A Story of Excellence
From your first call to ongoing care, here’s your complete pathway through our nephrology unit.
The first patient of the Unit was carefully and personally managed in the most individualised and efficient way possible. We engaged his family and carried them along with his care, in accordance with his request, and provided necessary support and documentation as he needed. He underwent regular hemodialysis sessions with us which we adjusted to fit into his work schedule. Throughout his journey with us, having 2 hemodialysis sessions per week for 3 months, we recorded no single case of infection. We optimized his blood levels without use of blood transfusions to improve his transplant process, and has been referred for kidney transplantation well prepared to have the best possible outcome.
